No. Whatever else, not this. The person paid to do the administrative
tasks could well be a mapper (and there would be advantages of that),
but the time they are paid to spend should be on the crappy
administrative tasks that volunteers are reluctant to do because they're
tedious, boring and carry no recognition.
There are two main reasons for OSMF not to pay this person to do
community tasks:
* If they're doing community stuff, they're not doing the Crappy Boring
Jobs that need to be done but no-one volunteers for. OSMF needs the CBJs
to be done to function.
* If one person is paid to map/answer Q&As/organise events, then any
community member could rightly say "Why aren't you paying me to do it?"
OSM then stops being crowdsourcing and becomes an employer.
I really, really don't want to see OSMF having to do massive fundraisers
to pay for staff, because then you'd need fundraising staff, who need
paying, so we'd need massive fundraisers.......
