Thank you for the (no doubt considerable) effort in changing the
financial year to match the calendar year. When the Management Team
was active we tried to get working groups to budget on a calendar year
basis, since it was easily understood by everyone involved, but of
course having budgets and financial years out-of-step that was never
going to be easy! It will, as you say, make it easier for more people
to understand the accounts without the double-sotm issue too.
