I've just read a great book on this topic[1], and yes, the UK has the
"Official Secrets Act", has done for 100+ years, and covers a large
amount of government data, and makes it a crime to release that information.

That *could* be used 'against' OSM. However, I *really* don't think it
would apply, since it has mostly been used to do with British
military/intelligence stuff.

Maybe if we were to map British military/intelligence facilities. That
used to be a crime. In 1958, 2 people were convicted for revealing the
existence of GCHQ in Cheltenham. MI6 is the UK intelligence agency and
where James Bond works. The UK Government officially pretended it didn't
exist until 1994. I'll bet micromapping that might annoy someone.
