It never cease to amaze me how precise is the GPS on the flying 
apparatuses in comparison with ground devices. Especially the DJI RPASs 
(quacopters) which use the double GPS & GLONASS receivers. The RTH 
(automatic return home) even lands a DJI aircraft about 1 - 1.5 meters 
from the recorded take off position.

I suppose that being in the air eliminates interference of high 
buildings, trees, etc. The aircraft's camera writes the geographical 
coordinates into the JPG images files too, and these are very precise 
coordinates. It is good to know that this field continues to develop 
that fast. Thank you for this information.
