It is worth noting that there already exists a paragraph in our AoA that
could help with the "replacement" business:

81. The Board may from time to time and at any time appoint any member
of the Foundation as a member of the Board, either to fill a casual
vacancy or by way of addition to the Board, provided that the prescribed
maximum be not thereby exceeded. Any member so appointed shall retain
their office only until the next Annual General Meeting, but shall then
be eligible for re-election.

I.e. even today board can appoint arbitrary people to serve on the board
(even in excess of 7).
