I'm not sure that there will be much a third party can do to resolve
this.
My guess is that it's not a configuration issue with CiviCRM that could
be resolved by changing anything in the web interface, and it's pretty
clear that it's not an issue with the mail system itself.
Most likely it's a bug in CiviCRM or an incompatibility between it
and our mail system, and it can likely only be resolved by low level
debugging that would require root access to the machine.
The fact that that it appears to use "sendmail -t" to send mail is
not a good sign for sure - if it's possible to configure it to use
a more sensible means of sending mail that that would likely be a
good start.
