John provided links to pages promising CC-BY-SA data as an incentive to 
register as a user.  Since their terms of use forbid bulk download and 
re-distribution of images you essentially have a catch-22 here.

"If you have a compelling use case that needs bulk access, please email 
support at planet.com."

which essentially demonstrates the same catch-22 (use cases that involve 
re-distribution of the data are obviously not compelling to them).
