[Osmf-talk] Local Chapter application - Ireland

It would be useful to know more detailed argumentation. For me as outsider “Ireland" means geographical island. I'd like to know "dominated by” really means and implies in the OSM local chapter context. 

Do you mean that UK Chapter already includes Northern Island quoting: “...our region (the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Channel Islands)"?
