I guess it is too late this time, but maybe next year there could be a recap page which lists your ballot and votes, and there would be the actual confirmation button (and a back button for corrections). This way it could be better prevented that people send empty ballots on error (many of us will have javascript on arbitrary pages blocked)

By the way, thanks to everybody who has put work into this, the whole process is so much more advanced compared to previous elections.
