while it is not clear why this is in the private part, there are some
obvious candidates who's term will end and as I got to know all of them
from my previous work on the board, I'd like to take the opportunity to
ask (or even urge) Kate to rerun.

Kate had always been a reasonable, a calm, a smart director within the
board. Negotiating, calming people down, being diplomatic, not insisting
on her view of things,.... I think Kate is a great board member, and the
board would miss her if she'd leave.

Kate, please do the project a favour and rerun.
