Thanks for your reply.
While i gladly see you having accepted a few of my points of critique on
specific details you have overall mostly rejected my cultural critique
of the board in connection to in parts fairly baseless allegations. I
don't think a lengthy reply addressing these point by point would
ultimately help bringing my message across better - it would just
cultivate the misunderstandings we apparently have here.
So my suggestion: if you or someone else on the board (current or
future) finds my perspective useful i would gladly answer questions or
counter-arguments that are not based on a distorted caricature of what
i wrote. Instead of implying i am asking for a "50-page full-colour
brochure" or "suspecting evil machinations" maybe just ask how i think
this can be practically accomplished within a reasonable amount of time
or what objective indications i see for a culture of intransparency and
why i think this creates problems.
One other point: If anyone from the board (or from the working groups)
is in need for advise or "a concept paper" as you put it or anything
similar on any subject related to OSMF business i - just like countless
others in the OSM community - would gladly help. As volunteers,
without payment (either directly or indirectly by providing this help
on time paid for otherwise). I have done this myself on a lot of
different occasions in the past for various people and mostly to the
liking of those who have asked.
In any case - apart from the "cultural critique" of the board i had a
specific factual question in the end that i would not mind getting an
answer to.
