You asked what assessment I based the approximate cost figure on. You
inferred a hourly rate from this. You assumed that we would be paying
social security, health/retirement insurance, and office infrastructure
and communication costs. You concluded that the numbers you arrived at
were "very low" (you did not say if you were making this judgement based
on average wages and cost of living in Greece, the UK, or Germany).

I did, in my message, hint at the difficulty of being transparent about
these issues. On the one hand, the OSMF members have a right to know
what we do with the money. On the other hand, payroll and contract
issues are sensitive because at the other end of the contract there's an
individual with a right to privacy. These goals need to be balanced,
just as the board's responsibility to be diligent in spending and its
responsibility as a fair business partner or employer need to be balanced.

The board is aware of these responsibilities and taking them seriously,
and that's all I will say at this point in time.

Bye
Frederik
