Hi Allan,

I didn't want to say "you shouldn't stand for board if you haven't
participated in a board meeting", sorry if it came across like that.
(Until very recently, that wasn't even an option for people.) Personally
I was absolutely delighted to see you standing for election and I
implore you to stay on - I think your skill set is in very high demand
in OSMF and you've demonstrated your commitment to OSM in a variety of
ways.

The point I was trying to make is: As a board member you *must*
participate in meetings, but as a guest this is voluntary; so if people
don't join as guests but are interested enough to become a board member,
finding out why that's the case can give us ideas for improvement. For
example, if bad internet connectivity is an issue for people, we might
have to switch to a less demanding medium, etc.
