Earlier this year, the board has created the Diversity and Inclusion
special committee and asked them to quantify the composition of OSM and
its sub-communities (among several other key tasks). I think it would be
valuable to learn more about the demographics of both the OSMF
membership and the mapper community, and I hope the committee will
manage to run a survey. It's likely they could use some extra help, as
the effort appears to have slowed down.
