FLOSSK organized State of the Map Southeast Europe¹ in October last 
year. I went to it, and it was very well attended, with 140+ attendees 
and many good speakers, and I had a great time. It was organized in very 
little time, and was all community OSM stuff. I hope they run a SotM 
Europe at some point. 🙂 That definitely supported OpenStreetMap in the 
area.
