Proud and happy to see the first African country applying for LC status.
Yay!
One down, only 53 (or 54) countries to go...
*Support:*
Yes. The application seems in order.
The requirements of the template agreement in its current form are met.
I understand that the agreement is being modified at present so this
situation may change.
*Comments:*
The DRC is a huge country and very poorly resourced area.
Good mapping can add a lot of value to all sorts of development
activities by documenting the connections between population centres,
remote areas and core areas and the public facilities in remote areas.
The LC has a lot of work ahead of it!

As always - it is important to build membership and especially important
to build leadership in depth.
