Rory, the AoA already allow us to remove members. 
Yes I also believe that perfect is enemy of the good. But this so rushed and lightly examined, its irresponsible.

The difference (in legal strength) between an aspirational sentence on a web page and the legally binding articles of association is massive.

In the 2015 Irish sane-sex marriage referendum, there was a big public disagreement about the term “homophobia”. People campaigning against same-sex marriage (aka homophobes) said “of course I'm not homophobic, but you shouldn't be allowed marry!”. Sorry but “Of course we all believe that, we don't need to define it!” isn't good enough for me. It's also on the list of standard objections to a Code of Conduct, would you oppose every CoC for the same reason?
