Dear Frederik,
I'm forwarding this to the mailing list, hoping to hear whether there's
any opinion on such issues, among fellows of the OSMF.
without support on this, I am ready to give up my association to the OSMF.
best regards, Mario Frasca

I sent it again, because I can't find in my records any sign of action
from your side after that message, which was timestamped 2020-12-10
19:38 -0500. that's yesterday 53 days ago.
three days before the DWG had blocked some accounts that looked related
to the YMUP, and if I can read the text of the message associated to the
block, the most important bit being to clarify whether the suspected
association was real, or not, for example by declaring it in the user
profile.
I have asked for updates and the most clear statement I heard from the
DWG was "your message […] moves me [Andy Townsend] more towards
believing that the people complaining about your behaviour and your
actions have a valid point that should be listened to."
now, it's my impression, but if I understood correctly, the few active
mappers in Panama I had managed to gather in the Telegram group have
left the group only to join the secretive mapping and organization style
from the YMUP, which the DWG seems to have endorsed. if you could
review the recordings of the 2021-01-02 Zoom meeting you would hear Prof
Dr Patricia Solís mentioning several times the resources (money) she's
able to move.
ook goed, hoor.
ciao,
Mario
