or countries that have a record of discrimination against members of religious communities (this would then also exclude the US who just recently banned foreign Muslims from entering the country)?

Amanda, what about countries like Russia, where AFAIK the sexual orientations you list are not illegal, but which aren’t exactly known as safe space for members of these minorities either?

On a side note, please let’s not put women in the “minority box”, women are not a minority.
