Hello fellow OSMF members,
Just a reminder that under UK law, OSMF [regular] members can start “written resolutions” for the whole OSMF [regular] membership to vote on. You don't need to wait for the board to propose any membership-wide votes. You need 5% of [regular] members. Since there's about 1,000 [regular] OSMF members ( https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Membership/Statistics ) if you can collect ~50 signatures, you can get a vote. Remember, with great power, comes great responsibility.
This is a matter of UK law. “associate members” are not legally “members”. So this is just about “normal members” a.k.a. “regular members” (I *think*). The OSMF Board plans to have the next Annual General Meeting of the OSMF on 11th December 2021. If it's something you want to do, don't wait around, there is probably legal time limits. And it would be a massive PITA if you email us late.
