[Osmf-talk] New moderation team & etiquette guidelines for talk@ & osmf-talk@ list

Hello all,

The OSMF Board has voted to change the moderators of this list to the new mod team (mentioned earlier). 🙂 Paperwork & technical beurocracy should be done. In 8 months time (i.e. January 2023) the OSMF Board will have a vote on whether to continue this trial, or to change it to something else. So, now we have a new mod team & a new etiquttee guidelines. 🙂 While some might want more specifics and details up front (I know I'm guilty of that), one way OSM works is by trying something and seeing how it works. So let's see how this new moderation system works. Please consult the (updated!) Etiquttee Guidelines and if you see something on this list, at a pub meet, or on twitter, report it as per standard mailman system (email talk-owner at openstreetmap.org or osmf-talk-owner at openstreetmap.org). Let's try this out, and see how it goes.

If/when you see our new mods around on the list(s) say hi. 🙂 Likewise, new mods, feel free to expand on what I've written here.
