[Osmf-talk] Tagging standards

The wiki changes over time would be my first comment.

Different prople interpret or don't quite understand what is written would
be my second comment.

Unfortunately a number of people don't like to read instructions.

Often people will copy what they find in the map.

People giving instructions to organised mapping give out the wrong
instructions.

Occasionally the wiki has errors.

Different regional areas have different tagging standards. An experienced
mapper may not be aware of this.

In the past even iD has suggested tags that did not align with accepted
practice.

Does that answer the question?

Thanks

Cheerio John
