[OSRM-talk] Using the "table" plugin for distances

Hi Folks,

I've just installed and have been testing the use of the table plugin for time-and-distance queries. My application is in routing heavy vehicles, and I've managed to get some reasonable time matrices. However, for distance I cannot seem to get a lua profile that gives good results -- distances I have been getting are typically lower bounds. For example, I've adjusted all speeds to be uniform, and removed all time penalties that I am aware of.

I have been able to get conservative distances using the viaroute plugin, but not otherwise.

I don't suppose there is a lua profile for getting accurate distances using the table plugin?
