[Potlatch-dev] Duplicate node with 1.3b

I've been trying to keep on top of new duplicate nodes appearing in the UK. Most over the couple of weeks since I finished clearing UK of duplicates have been from JOSM (the stable version before the current one), with one from Merkaartor, but from this weekend there is one new one which seems to be Potlatch related.

Nodes 581797154 and 581797540 were both created in changeset 3293760 as new adjacent nodes in existing way 39248840 with exactly the same latitude and longitude.

I don’t know exactly whether this is a Potlatch issue or whether a user shift clicking to add new nodes to a way can create two new ones at the same point, or even whether two were created at different lat/lon and moved on top of each other before the changeset was saved. In case it is relevant node 581797154 was shared with both a forest landuse and a Newport admin boundary, and the "duplicate" was only part of the way.

I thought I'd mention it, in case the description helps point at a specific code area that might create duplicates in such circumstances.

Ed
