I'm getting a problem when Potlatch starts up. The problem started
about 24 hours ago. It was actively using going in and out of Potlatch
and then it started coming up with an error.
I list my traces and then select the 'Edit' link next to one of them.
Potlatch starts, the 'Loading...' icon appears at the top-right, the
"Edit in live/offline mode" pop-up appears, I select "offline" (before
the loading has finished). Potlatch then takes a long time to
initialise, the CPUs run high for a few seconds (which seems different
to a normal startup of Potlatch) and then a dialog pops up saying:
"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly.
Do you want to abort the script? Yes/No"
I'm running OS X 10.5.8. The error occurs both in Safari and Firefox.
I've rebooted my computer, installed the latest system updates, and
the problem still occurs. It occurs on another computer as well (also
running 10.5.8 and behind the same router/firewall).
It's not totally consistent, in that I _have_ just got it to work when
going directly to the Edit tab, but it has failed previously when
going to the Edit tab, and it fails fairly consistently when entering
Potlatch via the Edit link next to one of my track in the Traces tab.
It seems to fail often/consistently when 'editing' one of my own
tracks (that have been edited OK in the past), but has worked when
'editing' someone else's (randomly selected) track.
Any ideas? Could it be caused by a recent update to Potlatch? If it's
not something that other people are getting or not a well-known
problem, I'll enter it as a bug report.
Thanks.
