In theory you could create it dynamically - in other words, depending
what login cookies are set, use a CGI or PHP (or whatever) script to
create vector.xml with the user's desired tracks in.
But yes, certainly we should be able to support passing in a GPX via the
swfobject parameters. I'll have a look at it in the next few days if
no-one beats me to it.
In the medium term the aim is to move to requiring Flash Player 10 -
this lets the user load and save local files from within Flash.
Unfortunately I do a bunch of my development on a PowerPC Mac and Adobe
haven't released the Flash Debug Player 10 for PowerPC. :(
