 implemented it is a bit dodgy, so we'll see if the patch gets accepted. :)
 In P1 you had to position the pointer, press L to get the coords,
 reposition the pointer press L again.
 Your way sounds much better - I also hope it gets accepted, then I can
 test it ;)
