 To reproduce:

 In Potlatch 2, go into advanced mode.
 Add a Node or a way.
 Enter "note" for the tag (or anything else)
 In the value field, type "this is a very long piece of text".
 All the text is entered, but only "this is a very long pie" is displayed.
 Click somewhere else, then back in the value field.
 Go to the end and start typing, and while you're typing only "this is a
 very long pie" is displayed again.

 Windows 7 64 bit, Adobe Flash Player version 10.3.183.10.
