 In my experience, failing shift-click is usually a result of Flash
 throwing an exception somewhere. Would you be able to have a try with the
 Debug Player
 (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Potlatch_2/Using_Flash_Debug_Player)
 and see if it reports anything?
