 Just tried in Firefox and see the same issue. Appears to happen anywhere
 on the map. If I Shift-click on the yellow line of a selected way (red
 dots, with yellow lines between them) then the red dots just flash off and
 on again. Exactly the same response as a normal click. Also can't Shift-
 click to select multiple items (for merging).
