 Sounding much more like a Flash issue than a P2 one. Clutching at straws a
 bit here, but...

 What keyboard layout are you using?

 Have you tried removing the surrounding HTML (press "M" to maximise) in
 case any of that is for some bizarre reason overflowing the SWF area?
