[openstreetmap-website] Simplify sign up for mobile users (#894)

Looking at other potentially less involved ways to make sign up simpler, I tried to create an OSM account using OpenID. Following the instructions at the Yahoo OpenID site:

I tried inputting `yahoo.com` into the OpenID field but got this:

Is this something I am just not getting or is there a separate issue here?
