True, I'm aware of current capabilities :-). This does not fall under what's currently implemented.
It should allow an easier starting point for adding parts of a recorded unmapped trace. I can even think of a scenario when a user uploads a trace and instead of just sending a mail that the track was uploaded engage him by letting him know that some parts of the trace are missing and encourage him to go back to the editor and add them.
