If `mapsme` provider uses emails provided by only verified providers or verifies emails itself, why 👎?

They don't have any usage policy in place now, but if needed, they can put there something in line of "this service can be used for authenticating in OpenStreetMap".

Could you explain this bit? Anyone can register in the service. At the moment oauth client registration is manual, but so is in wikimedia.
