@grischard : do you happen to know if this affects all recent ESR 52.x.0 versions? According to my understanding, 52.8.0 should the first version where JOSM remote control could potentially work again, see [this release overview](https://www.mozilla.org/media/img/firefox/organizations/release-overview-high-res.59a6d563be98.png). Does this conclusion make sense?
