In this case I think the best thing is to reset it to the "untranslated" state in the hope that somebody will redo it properly.

I'm not sure if that means removing it or resetting and marking as outdated? I'm not clear on the details of how an untranslated string is represented - from out point of view the ideal is to have that string no longer output in the tr locale so that we will fall back to en until it is retranslated.
