All the policies and texts were created by or at least in conjunction with lawyers with expert knowledge in the field.

The privacy policy has been linked to in the initial registration screen for a very long time and additionally from the ToS (that you you need to accept for account creation) for a good 4 years (aka since the ToU were adopted).
