Protomaps did some work on an AI policy recently: https://github.com/protomaps/basemaps/issues/543
An AI policy is different from instructions for agents because it's targeted at humans.
Unfortunately any documents will only help those willing to be helped, and the low-effort users are unlikely to read them. I was going to suggest being stricter about non-draft PRs that fail CI, but I reviewed the data. Most AI PRs pass CI. Bring stricter about non-draft PRs failing CI might be part of a solution but it's not enough by itself.
