Librewolf is a modern browser and has it disabled by default. Other security-focused browsers may also have it disabled or have an easy option to do so. Sadly, WebGL isn't particularly safe to leave enabled due to how e.g. on Android, GPU drivers are commonly left outdated for years.

I imagine an alternative renderer would be required, that is true. I don't want to diminish the effort required, however there might be useful libraries available for the task that could make this easier. (E.g. including some that can draw vector shapes with both a WebGL and software path.)
