[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] Bandwidth limit has become trivial to hit (Issue #7054)

I would like to add that opening many iD sessions, without making changes -ie. for troubleshooting-, also results in API limiting connections, though perhaps this is only due to going to a different location in Europe (Paris).
