I was kind of assuming @pablobm would look at it as it's recent code that he wrote so he'll already have a full understanding of it and I don't think it's going to be an easy fix.

One thing I meant to add last night is that looking at the logs I think there's a similar issue with `GpxSuccessNotifier` if the underlying trace is deleted.
