Sorry, I may have jumped the gun here. I had already started working on this by the time you mentioned that @pablobm would probably look into it, so I thought I’d continue with it since the problem interested me. I also looked into the GpxSuccessNotifier case you mentioned and found that it has the same underlying issue.

I’ve put together a fix for both cases with regression tests, and everything is passing locally. I’ll take this as a learning for next time and make sure to check in first before taking over an issue. Hope that’s alright
