[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] The map is completely broken on Ios 15 (Issue #7390)

### How to reproduce the issue?

1. Go to osm.org on Ios 15 (version 15.8.8 got released in may 2026 and is the latest supported version on many still good devices)
2. Stare at a grey, blank screen.

The menu works fine, and shockingly, the iD editor as well. It's just the slippy map and map buttons that don't even start to render at all. This breaking change happened sometime during spring 2026, before which everything worked as intended. 

Digging a bit deeper, other users of Ios 15 have reported breaking changes happening after 15.8.7 got released in March, containing several backports of patches to WebKit from more recent Ios versions. I have, however, not been able to confirm that there would have been any deprecations in that version of WebKit, as some users seem to claim.
