[Routing] Driving directions web map

hello,

There are plenty things to look at.

The obvious is http://openrouteservice.org/ but as far as I remember
the code isn't available yet (as it is a student project, but correct
me if I'm wrong).

For doing the routing by yourself, you can look at pgrouting (and
somewhere hidden in their svn there is some code to parse osm data).
Then you would need to take a closer look at openlayer how to display
the route on a webpage.

Pyroute, navit and gosmore might be other pointers, but they might not
be that easy to integrate. (Sorry if I forgot to mention other
projects.. there is a list at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Routing )

On my side, I used Boost::graph (and not pgrouting for multiple
reasons) to make a web route planer and I'm currently fighting with my
university to be able to publish it (but my hope are reducing every
day :(

Good luck!
