Yes. Gosmore can correctly count exits for simple roundabouts. It may
count things that aren't exits as exits (oneways that enter the
roundabout, footways etc).
You can do a field test with the WinCE version if you have a device
and a nearby roundabout. Or you can add -DROUTE_TEST to the gcc
command line and then simulate the movements by holding in shift when
you click. Then the name of the sound that will be played is sent to
stdout.
David Dean made a lot of changes, so if it's not working, try a
version from September / October.
