I handle mini-roundabouts like conventional intersections as that is
what I perceive them as as a driver.
I am currently adding some controls to the debug-menu of TS
to fast forward, pause,.. in GPX/NMEA-files to help debugging
the roundabout-support I added yesterday.
With my questions I was merely thinking way too complicated.
It should work now. I did not realize that yes, roundabouts have
to be mapped in the right direction anyway, so there is no need
for me to find out what the correct direction is (CW/CCW) and
what direction the list of way-nodes has.

...detecting cloverleaf-intersections and giving better driving
instructions for them may well be the next step when I debugged this
"Take the exit 38 and keep left onto A6".
...or detecting if multiple actions are to be taken shortly after
each other "Turn right and then left.".
