Hello Dennis,

You may have seen the uservoice survey that indicted that the
community wants routing on the osm.org website more than any other
feature. There is however great uncertainty as to what the hardware
requirements of this will be.

Can you please make a guesstimate as to the number of cores and amount
of RAM that routed will require for that ? Bear in mind that routed
will have to be extended to support turn restrictions, different
vehicle types and destination areas. Note also that as a minimum
changes must take no longer than two weeks to be incorporated into the
routing engine.
