[Strategic] introductions

hi,

i'm matt, OSM server admin and member of the technical working group.
i've been involved in OSM since 2006 as a mapper, coder and admin.
until recently i worked for CloudMade, but now unfortunately i have a
normal job again.

personally, i think it's important that any planning we do is based on
real data and rational expectations. i'd like to see this working
group preparing for the future of the community, rather than trying to
steer the community or making premature decisions about where we want
to get to.
