[Tagging] looking for native speaker opinion: tidal / tidalflat / tidal flat

Actually, my personal preference is to hyphenate a phrase when it is 
used as an adjective in front of a noun, so 'tidal-flat road' = 'road 
across a tidal flat'. So I guess that would imply tidal-flat_road as an 
OSM tag value!
