[Tagging] Duplication of POI-data

Hello

I have an issue that may already have been discussed but I can't
remember that I have ever seen it. That is the duplication of poi-data
for certain features. There are two features I'm aware of that often
are duplicated. One is the aeroway=aerodrome and the other is
leisure=golf_course . In both of these cases the centerpoint of a
polygon-poi could be considerd "incorrect" for the placement of a
renderd label, therefore It's seems rather common to add a node with
same (not always the same name..) tags on the main terminal building
or the clubhouse for the respective poi's. I also konw that I read a
long time ago somewhere on the wiki that this was not only common but
correct for aerodromes (could not find it now..)?
I find this practice wrong because it's unneccesary duplication of
data. If you want to render a map with labels that way why not render
the name from the aeroway=aerodrome where the one of the
aeroway=terminal is? Maybee we could use a building=clubhouse tag for
golfcourses (and other places with clubhouses aswell ofcourse ;) )?
